Good to know

What counts as an active unit?

An active unit is any unit you have not archived or deleted. You are billed for a unit from the moment you add it, whether or not it is currently occupied. To stop paying for a unit you no longer manage, archive it: an archived unit is free and read-only, keeps its full history viewable, and can be unarchived whenever you need it again. Deleting a unit also stops billing, but archiving keeps everything on record. Vacant units still count toward your active total until you archive or delete them.

What if my subscription becomes past due?

While your subscription is past due, a flat $1 applies per rent payment collected. It accrues onto your next subscription invoice once your account returns to good standing, and is written off if you cancel without reactivating. It is never added to the tenant or taken from your rent payout.

What happens if a rent payment fails?

The payment is marked failed, and both you and the tenant are notified. The configured retry policy then applies, and if the payment is still not collected, the charge moves to late after the grace period. A payment is only final once it has settled; paid status is not confirmed before settlement.

Can I move my whole portfolio in at once?

Yes. You can add properties and units one at a time, or import your whole portfolio from a spreadsheet in one step with a CSV. You preview exactly what will be created before anything is added, and imported units bill on the same tiers as any other unit.

Who Unitly is not for (yet)

We would rather be clear about the gaps than oversell. If you need one of these today, Unitly may not be the right fit yet.
